IESCO Implements Strong Measures to Ensure Uninterrupted Power Supply During Monsoon

Naeem Jan emphasized rigorous monitoring and patrolling of all 11 KV feeders.

Islamabad — As monsoon rains continue across the country, particularly in the IESCO region, CEO Muhammad Naeem Jan has issued strict directives to all field teams to maintain uninterrupted power supply and ensure swift restoration of faults.

In his official communication, Mr. Naeem Jan emphasized rigorous monitoring and patrolling of all 11 KV feeders. Field staff have been instructed to promptly address any faults related to jumpers, cross-arms, insulators, stay wires, weak points, and other technical issues.

To prepare for emergencies, the availability of critical equipment such as transformers, electric poles, and meters must be ensured at all offices. In case of breakdowns, Operations, Construction, and GSO teams will collaborate with emergency response units to restore electricity as quickly as possible while following strict safety protocols.

Additionally, consumers will be informed about complaint registration channels and safety precautions during rainy conditions through print, electronic, and social media platforms.

CEO Naeem Jan also urged customers to follow safety guidelines during monsoon rains and promptly report any issues through IESCO’s complaint platforms. Control rooms have been established at headquarters, circle, and division levels to closely monitor all operations and ensure smooth power supply throughout the rainy season.
