Israel Warns Iran of Severe Consequences: ‘Tehran Will Burn’ If Missile Attacks Persist

International observers are urging restraint as the risk of direct confrontation continues to grow.

In a stark warning issued on Saturday, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz threatened Iran with severe retaliation, declaring that “Tehran will burn” if Iranian missile attacks on Israeli civilians persist.

Addressing Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei directly, Katz accused the regime of endangering its own people:
“The Iranian dictator is taking the citizens of Iran hostage, bringing about a reality in which they, and especially Tehran’s residents, will pay a heavy price for the flagrant harm inflicted upon Israel’s citizens,” he stated.

The comments come amid heightened tensions in the region, following Iran’s recent missile strikes and its threats against Western military bases. Iran has warned the United Kingdom, the United States, and France not to interfere or attempt to block its attacks on Israel — threatening retaliatory strikes on their regional military installations.

The escalating rhetoric has raised fears of a broader conflict, with both nations exchanging threats amid ongoing hostilities. International observers are urging restraint as the risk of direct confrontation continues to grow.
