ISLAMABAD: Canva, the widely used online graphic design platform, experienced a global outage today, leaving users unable to access their accounts or load projects. The disruption affected users across multiple regions, including Pakistan, where many reported persistent connection issues.

Earlier today, visitors to the site encountered “Connection timed out” errors throughout the day. The outage disrupted work for students, professionals, and designers who rely on Canva for presentations, social media content, and design projects.
Canva Acknowledged the Issue
The Canva team acknowledged the problem through its system status page, stating:
We’re aware of an issue where users are unable to access Canva and are encountering timeout errors when attempting to load the platform. Our engineering team is actively investigating and working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
An additional update was issued around 12 PM PKT, confirming that work on a fix was continuing. The service seems to be recovered now, with users being able to log in and continue their work again.

Users in Pakistan also reported widespread access issues, confirming that the outage was not limited to one region. No alternative access or temporary workaround was provided during the outage.
