PCCR Visits KP Assembly to Address Child Education Issues

PCCR's Nationwide Initiative for Child Education and Welfare Continues with KP Visit

Islamabad  – Under the leadership of Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, and on the directions of Dr. Nikhat Shakeel Khan, MNA, Convenor of the Parliamentary Caucus on Child Rights (PCCR), a consultative visit was conducted to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly. The visit focused on critical issues related to out-of-school children and the National Education Emergency in Pakistan.

The objective of the visit was to facilitate dialogue among provincial legislators, government officials, education experts, and child rights advocates to create a strategic roadmap for ensuring quality education access for all children in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This visit was part of PCCR’s broader national initiative, which includes similar consultative visits in other provinces to gather insights and formulate a comprehensive strategy for child education and welfare across Pakistan.

The PCCR emphasized its commitment to collaborating with provincial stakeholders to uphold every child’s right to education, ensuring that no child is left behind.
