Harris Rauf nominated for ICC Men’s player of the Month for November 2024
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s fast bowler Harris Rauf has been nominated for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for November following his stellar performances across formats. Rauf played a pivotal role in Pakistan’s historic ODI series win in Australia, their first in 22 years. The 31-year-old right-arm quick had an outstanding series, starting with a fiery three-wicket haul in the opening ODI in Melbourne.
However, it was in the second ODI that Rauf truly shone, claiming a match-winning five-wicket haul to level the series. He followed up with two more wickets in the final ODI, finishing as the series’ top wicket-taker with 10 wickets at an impressive economy rate of just five. His efforts were crucial in Pakistan securing a 2-1 series win.
Rauf continued his fine form in the subsequent T20I series, picking up five wickets, including a brilliant four-wicket haul in the second T20I. He ended the month with three more wickets in as many ODIs against Zimbabwe, bringing his tally to 18 wickets across formats in November.

Meanwhile, Bumrah’s stunning performance in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, including an eight-wicket haul in the opening Test against Australia, solidified his place among the nominees.
The winner of the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award will be announced soon, with Rauf’s exceptional month of performances earning him a well-deserved nomination.
