The newly appointed Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Yahya Afridi, met with the outgoing Chief Justice, Qazi Faiz Isa, in his chamber on Wednesday.
Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa extended his congratulations to Justice Afridi on his nomination.
Their first meeting occurred before the day’s court proceedings, with a second meeting following after the hearings concluded.
Justice Afridi also visited the chamber of Justice Mansoor Ali Shah during the day.
Alongside congratulations from his fellow judges, Justice Afridi received a warm welcome from his chamber staff as well.
Graciously accepting all the well-wishes, the incoming Chief Justice is now preparing to assume his new responsibilities.
