Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq Announces Rs 10 Lakh for District Bar Association,
Palndri-(Special Correspondents)-Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq, addressed a function organized by the District Bar Association, where he praised the lawyers’ understanding of the constitution and law. He emphasized that lawyers can play a vital role in bettering society.
Haq stated, “Everyone talks about rights, but no one talks about duties.” He added that the universal principle of governance is to collect taxes and provide welfare to the people.
The Prime Minister announced a subsidy of Rs 10 lakh for the District Bar Association and assured that the government would fulfill the association’s demands. He clarified that subsidies are meant for deserving individuals.
Haq highlighted the facilities available in Azad Kashmir, saying, “We have facilities that are not available in any other province of Pakistan.” He urged the bar association to interpret civil liberties for the people.
Meets Sudhnuti Press Club delegation, announces Rs 5 lakh aid,
During a separate meeting with a delegation from the Sudhnuti Press Club, Haq announced Rs 5 lakh for the construction of the press club building and a press tour. The delegation included Sardar Mazhar Zarif, president of Sudhnuti Press Club, and other prominent members.
The Prime Minister listened to the press club’s concerns and vowed to address them. He emphasized the importance of legitimate criticism from the media, stating, “I consider the sanctity of words as important.”
Haq also discussed tourism and hydel power in Azad Kashmir, highlighting their vast potential. He assured that the government is working to promote tourism by improving road infrastructure.
Ministers Sardar Muhammad Hussain, Ms. Nabila Ayub, and Sardad Faheem Akhtar Rabbani were present during the events.
