Kohat Police Lines Blast Kills 15 People, Injures More Than 50

Kohat– (Staff Reporter/Web Desk) – The Kohat Police Lines blast has left the city in shock after a powerful explosion tore through the area near a local mosque on Friday. At least 15 people lost their lives, and more than 50 others were hurt in the attack, according to hospital officials.

Tahir Ali Shah, the Medical Superintendent at District Headquarters Hospital, spoke to Geo News shortly after the incident. He confirmed that 15 bodies were brought to the hospital, along with dozens of injured patients needing urgent care.

Police officials who reached the site said the explosion left a large crater right outside the mosque. The force of the blast was strong enough to damage nearby buildings and shake the surrounding streets.
