Kashmiris Worldwide Commemorate Kashmir Martyrs’ Day

MUZAFFARABAD: Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and around the globe are observing Kashmir Martyrs’ Day today, honoring the 22 young men who were martyred on July 13, 1931, by the Dogra regime while completing the Adhan in Srinagar’s Central Jail.
This day is celebrated annually to pay tribute to these martyrs, whose sacrifices are regarded as the cornerstone of Jammu and Kashmir’s freedom movement. Even after more than ninety years, the spirit of the martyrs of July 13 continues to inspire the Kashmiri people’s ongoing struggle for their rights.
Millions of lives have been sacrificed in pursuit of the martyrs’ mission, highlighting the enduring resolve of the Kashmiri people to achieve freedom and justice.
