Former PM Imran Khan to be out of jail on June 27?

“Imran Khan’s sole message is chaos and anarchy,” Sanaullah said, adding that in a democratic setup, there is no alternative to dialogue.

ISLAMABAD: Rana Sanaullah, the prime minister’s advisor on political issues, predicted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan might be released from prison on June 27.

However, Sanaullah speaking to a private TV channel emphasized that the government will make every effort to keep Khan detained, citing concerns over his agenda to spread chaos.

Despite the potential release, he assured that it would not cause any significant upheaval.

“Imran Khan’s sole message is chaos and anarchy,” Sanaullah said, adding that in a democratic setup, there is no alternative to dialogue. However, he noted that negotiations could only occur if Khan moved away from his current stance of promoting disorder.

Sanaullah reaffirmed that if Khan persists in his goal of disruption, the government will respond firmly, but he also expressed a willingness to communicate if the situation allows. “Our behavior will reflect our mentality. Whenever there is a chance, we are prepared to speak,” he stated.

The advisor went on to attack Khan for not adhering to democratic values, saying that nobody has the authority to harm the nation. “We will ensure that Imran Khan remains detained within the bounds of the law,” he stated.

He also brought up the potential for searches and case openings to be part of legal proceedings.
