Lahore, Jamaat-e-Islami chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman announced plans to train over 1,000 teachers annually, following the success of their free IT education program for 1 million people.

Rehman commenting on “Al-Khidmat Binawib” program, which has provided IT education opportunities. He credited the program’s success to the district administration and expressed pride in Jamaat-e-Islami’s efforts to educate Pakistani children.

Rehman criticized the government for failing to fulfill its responsibility in education, particularly for the children of underprivileged families struggling with rising electricity and gas bills. He announced plans to partner with the curriculum development institute to train teachers, aiming to prepare over 1,000 annually.

Rehman expressed dissatisfaction with the current government’s performance, particularly the IT Minister, who he claimed has been ineffective for several years. He avoided mentioning names but criticized those “of Form 47,” a possible reference to government officials.
