Islamabad— Pakistan has extended its support to Iran for investigating a recent helicopter crash. The offer was made by Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch during a weekly press briefing on Friday.
“Iran has full capability to conduct the investigation,” Baloch stated. “However, if Iran requires assistance from Pakistan, we are fully prepared to help.”
The spokesperson highlighted significant diplomatic activities over the past week, noting that Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar’s visit to Saudi Arabia resulted in a $10 million investment for Pakistan. Additionally, during a visit to Bishkek, Dar addressed the challenges faced by Pakistani students, ensuring their safe return amid difficult circumstances. So far, around 5,000 students have returned voluntarily.

“Prime Minister Sharif’s visit to the UAE was successful, highlighting cooperation in information technology and renewable energy,” Baloch added. Sharif also met with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and other senior officials, offering condolences for recent bereavements.
