Security Forces Rescue 21 Abducted Workers In Chagai District Operation
Chagai: (Web Desk) – Twenty one workers associated with a mining contractor in Chagai were safely recovered after being abducted by unidentified armed men a few days earlier, officials confirmed on Saturday.
According to initial reports the workers were taken from the Quetta–Taftan Highway while they were travelling through the region for duty related movement.
Security forces and relevant authorities later launched a targeted operation in which all abducted workers were successfully rescued without reported casualties.

Officials clarified that the recovered individuals were not directly employed by any international mining company but were working under a local contractor linked to a mining project in the region.
Authorities further noted that the contractor’s agreement with the mining company had already expired prior to the incident.
No group has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping so far, and investigations are currently underway to determine those involved and the circumstances behind the abduction.
