US Sailor Missing After Seahawk Crash Arabian Sea

Three Rescued After Seahawk Crash Arabian Sea Incident

US NAVY HELICOPTER – (Web Desk) – A US Navy helicopter went down in the Arabian Sea on Wednesday, leaving one crew member missing. The Seahawk crash Arabian Sea incident happened during operations tied to the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush.

Officials said the MH-60S Seahawk made an emergency water landing early Wednesday morning. The aircraft was carrying four crew members at the time.

Three of the four crew members were pulled from the water safely. They are now listed in stable condition aboard the carrier.

The US Navy’s 5th Fleet said search teams are still working to find the missing crewmember. The exact cause of the crash has not been confirmed yet.

Officials were quick to rule out enemy action. They said there is no sign the helicopter was hit or targeted before it went down.

An official investigation into the crash has now started. The Navy said more details will be shared once the inquiry moves forward.

This is not the first aircraft mishap for US forces in the region this year. A similar rescue took place last month after an Army Apache helicopter went down over the Gulf of Oman.

Search and rescue operations remain active as crews continue looking for the missing sailor.
