U19 Championship and Cup Set to Begin Tuesday
A total of 98 matches to be played over 61 days, featuring three distinct phases.
LAHORE—The National Men’s U19 three-day Championship and One-Day Cup are scheduled to start on Tuesday, September 10. The tournament will feature a total of 98 matches for both formats over a span of 61 days, with each round of the three-day games followed by One-Day matches.
Eighteen teams representing 16 regions will compete, with the One-Day Cup final set for October 22 and the three-day Championship final scheduled from November 6-9. The venues for the finals will be announced at a later date.
The 18 regional teams will be divided into three groups, with round-robin matches to be played in a single-league format until October 12. The next phase will feature one-day matches among the top teams from each group, played in a single-league format from October 16-22. This will be followed by three-day matches between the group leaders, again in a single-league format, from October 25 to November 9.

The National Men’s U19 Championship and Cup is set to offer emerging young talents a valuable opportunity to showcase their skills and vie for a place in the Pakistan U19 team. This selection is crucial for the upcoming tri-nation 50-over series in November in the UAE, followed by the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2024.

–Group A (Matches in Karachi): FATA, Islamabad, Karachi Whites, Larkana, Multan, and Quetta regions.
–Group B (Matches in Abbottabad, Charsada, Peshawar, and Risalpur): Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Karachi Blues, Lahore Blues, and Rawalpindi regions.
– Group C (Matches in Faisalabad, Sargodha, and Sheikhupura):** Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Dera Murad Jamali (DM Jamali), Hyderabad, Lahore Whites, Peshawar, and Sialkot regions.
