Tyla World Cup 2026 Ceremony Steals the Show

Tyla Shines at the Tyla World Cup 2026 Ceremony

FIFA World Cup – (Web Desk) – The Tyla World Cup 2026 ceremony was one of the biggest moments of this year’s FIFA World Cup. For the first time ever, the World Cup kicked off with not one but three opening ceremonies held across three different cities.

Mexico City went first on June 11. The show took place around 90 minutes before Mexico faced South Africa. Tyla performed alongside global stars like Shakira, Burna Boy, J Balvin, Belinda, Maná, and Alejandro Fernández. Shakira and Burna Boy also performed the official World Cup anthem called Dai Dai.

Toronto hosted its own ceremony on June 12 before Canada played Bosnia-Herzegovina. This show celebrated Canadian pride with homegrown artists like Alanis Morissette, Michael Bublé, Alessia Cara, and Jessie Reyez, joined by international star Nora Fatehi.

Then came Los Angeles. Tyla appeared on stage again, this time alongside Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, LISA, and Rema. The LA show brought together pop, hip hop, Afrobeats, and Latin sounds all on one stage. It was a celebration of world music just as much as world football.

What made this World Cup opening so special was how it connected people across cultures. Three cities, three stages, and one shared love for football and music.
