Trump Confirms Caroline Leavitt’s Departure as Press Secretary

WASHINGTON: (News Desk) – US President Donald Trump has confirmed that White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt will leave her position at the end of August.

Trump praised Leavitt as one of the best press secretaries and said she had performed an outstanding job while serving his administration and supporting his political campaign.

At 28, Leavitt became the youngest White House press secretary in US history. She said she plans to step away from the high-profile role to spend more time with her young children.

Leavitt gave birth to a daughter in May and recently returned from vacation. Reflecting on her time at the White House, she described the position as “the honor and adventure of a lifetime.”

Iranian Embassy Makes Controversial Claim About Leavitt’s Exit

The Iranian embassy in South Africa has claimed that White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt resigned not to give her family time but because she was frustrated with President Donald Trump.

According to foreign media reports, the Iranian embassy in South Africa also released a photo of Caroline Levitt in an unpleasant mood.
