Over 580 Militants Killed as 64 Locations Hit in Airstrikes in Afghanistan

Islamabad-Mudassar Iqbal/News Desk)-Pakistan’s Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar has claimed that the Taliban suffered significant casualties during recent operations in Afghanistan.

According to figures shared on March 8, 583 militants were killed while more than 795 others were injured in the reported clashes and air operations. Tarar stated that 242 checkpoints were destroyed, while 38 additional posts were captured and later demolished during the operations.

He also claimed that 213 tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery units belonging to Taliban forces were destroyed. Furthermore, 64 locations across Afghanistan were effectively targeted in aerial strikes, resulting in substantial damage to militant infrastructure.

The information minister said authorities are closely monitoring the regional security situation following the reported operations
