Security Forces kill Two Terrorists in North Waziristan Operation

ISPR confirmed that the operation yielded a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosive materials.

RAWALPINDI: In a decisive operation conducted in North Waziristan, security forces successfully neutralized two terrorists, including a notorious militant known as Mansoor, on the basis of intelligence indicating their presence in the region.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation took place on the nights of February 5th and 6th, following reports of terrorist activity in North Waziristan. Security forces swiftly initiated an intelligence-based operation to address the threat.

During the operation, intense exchanges of fire occurred between security personnel and the terrorists. As a result, Mansoor, alias Mansoor, along with another militant, was eliminated.

ISPR confirmed that the operation yielded a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosive materials. It was revealed that the slain terrorists were involved in targeted killings, extortion, and abductions of innocent civilians, in addition to engaging in terrorist activities.

The spokesperson for the Pakistan Armed Forces stated that in addition to eliminating the identified terrorists, a clearance operation was also conducted to root out any remaining threats in the area. The local community lauded the operation and expressed full cooperation in efforts to eradicate terrorism from the region.
