Sargodha Boy Buried Alive After Reporting Sexual Abuse
Sargodha Boy Buried Alive — Three Brothers Arrested by Punjab Police
Sargodha – (Web Desk) – A Sargodha boy buried alive has shocked the entire nation. A 14-year-old child was buried in a field after he reported sexual abuse to his family. The incident took place in the Jhal Chakian area of Sargodha, Punjab.
The boy had been sexually assaulted nearly 20 days before this horrific event. When he told his family about what happened, the accused found out. Three brothers then took revenge by burying the innocent child underground.
On June 25, the boy left his home at 4:30 PM to attend a local religious gathering. He never returned that night. His worried family searched for him and also informed the police.
The next morning, around 11 AM, the family heard a faint cry from a nearby field. When they reached the spot, they found the boy’s leg sticking out of the ground. He was pulled out in a semi-conscious state and rushed to the hospital.
After regaining consciousness, the child told his mother everything. He said the main accused, Qamar, had assaulted him weeks ago. When Qamar’s elder brother found out, all three brothers beat the boy and buried him alive as punishment for speaking up.
Police acted quickly. All three accused — Qamar, Amjad, and Waris — were arrested. A case was registered and they were presented before a Judicial Magistrate. Physical remand was obtained for further investigation.
Sargodha DPO Sohaib Ashraf confirmed the case is being investigated from all angles. He assured the public that strict legal action will be taken against all those involved.
This case highlights the rising concern of child abuse in Pakistan. According to child rights group Sahil, over 3,630 child abuse cases were recorded across Pakistan in 2025 alone.
