Sanam Marvi Regrets Past Marriage After 15 Years

ISLAMABAD: (Showbiz Desk) – Pakistani singer Sanam Marvi has spoken candidly about a painful period of her personal life, revealing that she regrets a decision related to her past marriage and saying she would not have made the same choice if she had not had her three sons.

A clip from Sanam’s recent podcast appearance has gone viral on social media, in which the singer reflected on the nearly 15 years she describes as an extremely difficult phase of her life.

Speaking about her marriage in Punjab, Sanam became emotional while recalling the circumstances surrounding her decision. She said that without her three sons, she would never have taken that step in her life.

The singer also expressed regret over the years she believes were lost during that period. She said that although it was an important phase of her life, she would choose differently if given another opportunity and would not want to spend another 15 years going through the same experience.

Despite her feelings about the past, Sanam said she continues to respect her former husband because he is the father of her children. She explained that her sons have played an important role in maintaining that respect.

Sanam further revealed that she has worked to provide her sons with a secure and comfortable life. She said she built a house for them and also gave them a car.

According to the singer, her sons now visit her and spend time with her, which has helped restore their relationship after years of separation.

Recalling one of the hardest periods of her life, Sanam said she remained separated from her children for around seven years. She also went through several court proceedings during that time, describing those years as extremely challenging.

Sanam’s remarks shed light on the personal struggles she says she faced over the course of 15 years. While she regrets the decisions that shaped that period, she considers her three sons the most significant part of her life and continues to focus on maintaining a close relationship with them.
