Pakistan's Hearing-Impaired Squash Star Sana Bahadur Claims Australian Title

ISLAMABAD: (Sports Reporter) – Talented hearing-impaired squash player Sana Bahadur has added another international title to her growing list of achievements after winning the PCA Independent Squash Cup 2026 in Australia.

Representing the Pakistan Army, Sana secured the title at the Canterbury Club in Sydney, continuing her impressive run on the Australian squash circuit.

Sana faced fellow Pakistani player Noor-ul-Huda in the final. She won the opening game before Noor-ul-Huda suffered an ankle injury during the second game and was forced to retire from the match.

Following the retirement, Sana was declared the winner and lifted another prestigious squash trophy on Australian soil.

The latest victory adds to an impressive series of international performances by the Peshawar-born athlete, whose achievements have earned widespread appreciation in Pakistan.

Earlier, Sana also won the Challenger Bendigo Open Squash title in Melbourne, further establishing herself as a promising name on the Australian squash circuit.

Her continued success has brought pride to Pakistan and highlighted the determination and sporting talent of athletes competing at the international level despite physical challenges.
