Pakistan Suffers Injury Blow Before Australia ODI Series

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Saim Ayub and Fakhar Zaman will miss Pakistan’s upcoming ODI series against Australia due to injury concerns, according to reports released on Wednesday. Both batters are currently undergoing rehabilitation under the supervision of the Pakistan Cricket Board medical team.

The PCB stated that both players are progressing through recovery programs and extended its support and best wishes to the injured duo. An official update regarding their fitness and return timeline is expected to be shared soon.

Pakistan and Australia are set to face off in a three-match ODI series scheduled from May 30 to June 4, 2026. The white-ball series will be played across Rawalpindi and Lahore as both teams prepare for a competitive limited-overs contest.

PCB Central Contracts Face Major Overhaul Before New Cycle

The Australian squad is expected to arrive in Islamabad on May 23, while Pakistan’s players will begin preparations a day earlier in Rawalpindi. The national side plans to hold a training camp along with a practice match ahead of the opening fixture.
