RMU Conducts Second NEB Examination of 2026

RAWALPINDI: (News Desk) –  Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU) conducted the second National Equivalence Board (NEB) Examination of 2026 on Saturday in line with the standards and regulations set by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC), 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

Students from 10 countries appeared in the examination, including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Georgia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

The NEB examination is held twice a year to evaluate the academic knowledge, clinical skills and professional competencies of students who have partially completed medical or dental programmes at foreign institutions and are seeking admission or transfer to medical and dental colleges in Pakistan.

The examination provides an assessment of candidates before they can continue their medical or dental education in Pakistan. The results are expected to be announced within one week.

Candidates who pass the examination will be issued the required No Objection Certificate (NOC) by the PM&DC, allowing them to apply for transfer to recognized medical and dental colleges and universities across Pakistan.

However, approval of the transfer will depend on seat availability at the relevant institution and the candidates’ fulfilment of all applicable regulatory requirements.
