LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Momina Iqbal’s sister and legal representative, Rimsha Iqbal, has publicly defended the actress amid an ongoing cyber harassment controversy, condemning online abuse, trolling, and alleged character assassination campaigns.
Speaking emotionally about the situation, Rimsha stated that public criticism and social media narratives would not affect her support for her sister and family during the legal battle.
She strongly criticized the online attacks allegedly directed at both herself and Momina Iqbal, claiming such tactics are commonly used to intimidate women who choose to speak out publicly or pursue legal action.
Rimsha said women are often discouraged from raising their voices because of societal pressure and fear of humiliation, adding that many victims remain silent despite facing similar experiences.

“I do not care what people think, even if the entire world stands against us. I will never tolerate anyone speaking disrespectfully about my sister or my family,” she stated.
She further claimed that several women had privately contacted her to share similar allegations of harassment and emotional pressure, but were unwilling to speak publicly due to fear of backlash.
Rimsha also thanked supporters who reached out with encouraging messages during the controversy and maintained that legal proceedings would continue through proper channels.
According to her, online harassment campaigns and personal attacks would not weaken their resolve, adding that evidence related to the matter would ultimately be presented before the court.
The controversy involving Momina Iqbal recently intensified after the actress reportedly approached the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency in Lahore over allegations linked to cyberbullying, online threats, digital harassment, and mental pressure.
