Reports About Imran Khan’s Health Worry PTI Leaders and Public

PTI Chairman Gohar Ali Khan says the news about the party founder’s condition is not encouraging and demands proper hospital treatment.

Imran Khan – (Staff Reporter/Web Desk) – Reports about Imran Khan’s health have raised fresh worry in the country. PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said on Friday that the news about the jailed party founder is not good.

He spoke to reporters outside Parliament House in Islamabad. Gohar said the whole nation is anxious. He added that there must be no compromise on the former prime minister’s medical care.

Gohar said lawyer Salman Safdar was able to meet Imran Khan. The lawyer received some instructions about his health and his pending court cases.

The party has now gone to the Supreme Court. It wants the court to enforce its August 18 order on Imran Khan’s treatment. That order said he should be moved for treatment and a medical board should check his condition.

Gohar said the party has filed an application for an early hearing. He urged that a decision be made soon to shift Imran Khan to a hospital.

The PTI chairman also asked for an end to political tension. He said the situation should not be allowed to get worse. He demanded the release of detained lawmakers, party workers and supporters.

Gohar also showed concern for Imran Khan’s sisters, who are in detention. He said the party has received no word about their condition and asked for their quick release.

Different Stories About His Health

The comments came after worrying posts on social media. Imran Khan’s sister Rubina Khan said his blood pressure suddenly rose to 192. Her statement was shared by his son, Kasim Khan.

She asked for Imran to be admitted to an independent hospital in the presence of his own doctor. Kasim warned that long isolation could seriously harm his father’s health.

However, the source of this information is still unclear. Salman Safdar met Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, at Adiala Jail on November 2. He later said he was not the source of these reports. He added that his role is only legal, and he is not anyone’s messenger.

Safdar said the meeting lasted about 40 minutes. He had not met Imran for seven months, or Bushra Bibi for 11 months.

According to sources quoted by The News, Imran said his blood pressure once reached around 190. Otherwise, he was fairly fit, with no sign of an immediate emergency. He was also worried about his wife’s health, including an eye problem.

For now, no independent medical report is available. The truth about his condition remains unclear.
