Rana Sanaullah Confident in PTI Dialogue, Calls for Action
Rana Sanaullah Calls for "Charter of Economy" to Address National Challenges
ISLAMABAD: Rana Sanaullah, a member of the government’s negotiation committee, expressed confidence in the ongoing dialogue with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), emphasizing that successful negotiations require open-minded participation from all parties involved. Speaking about the discussions, he stated that while the talks have been positive so far, practical implementation of the agreed points is crucial.
“There are no guarantees in negotiations, but I am 100% confident in their success,” said Rana Sanaullah, stressing the importance of sincerity and mutual understanding. He highlighted that no preconditions were set in the talks, and both sides would present their positions before seeking a middle ground.
He acknowledged the historical tensions between the government and PTI but emphasized that political dialogue is essential for moving the country forward. “The issues being discussed are not new. Both sides have called each other names in the past. However, if the parliamentary democratic system is to move forward, it cannot happen without political dialogue,” he noted.

Rana Sanaullah also referenced past agreements, including the Charter of Democracy with the Pakistan Peoples Party, and called for a similar initiative focused on the economy. “We talked about a Charter of Economy before and are reiterating it today. Just as the Charter of Democracy helped in the past, a Charter of Economy is the need of the hour,” he added.
