During the talks, PTI’s Raja Nasir Abbas stressed that the establishment played a significant role in the process, adding that the establishment’s assistance was essential for the negotiations to proceed effectively. He also stated that PTI founder Imran Khan seeks to uphold constitutional and legal supremacy and that the government now had the final opportunity to address the situation.

Commitment to Negotiation Agenda

Sahibzada Hamid Raza, speaking to the media, emphasized that PTI was committed to the negotiation process but would not compromise on its key demands, including the release of political prisoners and the formation of a judicial commission. He reiterated that Imran Khan’s release was a top priority, but stressed that discussions should not be affected by unrelated issues.

Looking Ahead to Better Results

Irfan Siddiqui, a senior government member, expressed optimism about the talks, stating that the government’s focus was on Pakistan’s progress and prosperity. He said that despite past differences, the primary objective should be the country’s betterment, and he hoped the talks would lead to positive outcomes.
