Rana Sanaullah Bilawal Remarks Warning Signals Worsening AJK Elections Tension

ISLAMABAD – (Staff Reporter/Web Desk) – Rana Sanaullah Bilawal remarks have once again stirred debate in Pakistan’s political circles. The Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs cautioned on Sunday that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s recent statements could make the political atmosphere worse.

Speaking on Geo News show “Jirga,” Sanaullah said Bilawal’s comments about Defence Minister Khawaja Asif showed an attitude that wasn’t appropriate for a senior leader.

He asked the PPP chief to talk like a national leader instead of using tough words just to win votes. Sanaullah added that PML-N has never had a habit of throwing out its members in a harsh way.

AJK Elections PPP vs PML-N: A Growing Battle of Words

The AJK elections PPP vs PML-N contest is heating up fast. Sanaullah touched on the situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, saying the AJK prime minister had already declared the Joint Action Committee a banned group.

He said the federal government stood behind that decision. According to him, Bilawal’s remarks seemed to go against this move.

Sanaullah also clarified that no FIR has been filed against JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. He said the government has no wish to drag the matter further.

Earlier, while addressing a rally in Kotli, Bilawal took a direct shot at PML-N. He claimed the party would face a huge defeat in the coming AJK elections and said only PPP would form the next government there.

He said Kashmir’s future belongs to its own people, not to any single leader or party. According to Bilawal, the people of Kashmir will decide their own path forward.

He also criticized PML-N ministers, saying their actions were hurting the people of Kashmir. Bilawal added that until PM Shehbaz Sharif responds to Khawaja Asif’s statement, he will treat it as the official policy of the federal government.

Bilawal once again called for a truth and reconciliation commission to look into the AJK situation. He also urged the government to restore internet services in the region without further delay.

He mentioned that no reply has come yet from the stakeholders on this proposal. Bilawal asked the government to offer another solution if forming the commission isn’t possible right now.
