Punjab Sees Large-Scale Bureaucratic Transfers Across Departments and Districts
LAHORE: (Web Desk) – The Punjab, Pakistan government announced a major bureaucratic reshuffle on Tuesday, issuing orders for multiple transfers and postings across provincial departments and districts just days before Eid-ul-Fitr. The changes aim to enhance administrative efficiency and strengthen governance throughout the province, with officials expected to assume their new roles immediately.
Key appointments include Muhammad Faisal Saleem as Additional Secretary to the Additional Chief Secretary and Asadullah as Additional Secretary (Admin) in the Communication and Works Department. Khurram Pervez has been posted to the Punjab Rural Municipal Services Company (PRMSC), while Rana Musa Tahir joins the Finance Department as Deputy Secretary.

At the district level, notable postings include Sherina Ghulam Murtaza Junejo as ADCR Faisalabad, Ahmed Haroon as ADCR Sargodha, and Sarah Loni as ADCR Narowal, alongside several other appointments in Bahawalpur, Khanewal, and Sahiwal.
In specialized sectors, Fahad Mahmood was named Additional Chief of the Punjab Wildlife and Parks Department, while Captain Sami Tayyab Khan and Captain Osama Majeed joined the Lahore Development Authority and Punjab Food Authority respectively. Further changes include multiple ADCR and Deputy Secretary postings across Jhelum, Faisalabad, Nankana Sahib, and Toba Tek Singh, along with several Officers on Special Duty (OSD) assignments.
The reshuffle reflects the Punjab government’s effort to streamline provincial administration and ensure better delivery of public services ahead of the festive season.
