LAHORE: (Web Desk) – The final of PSL 11 Final began in a thrilling atmosphere as Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and opted to field first against debut finalists Hyderabad Kingsmen at Gaddafi Stadium.

Before the match, a vibrant closing ceremony entertained a packed stadium, featuring performances by leading Pakistani artists including Atif Aslam, Ali Azmat, Arif Lohar, Aima Baig, and the Sabri Sisters, who electrified the crowd with their performances.

Speaking after the toss, Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam said the team feels confident and will stick to its match strategy, noting strong local support in Lahore.

Hyderabad Kingsmen skipper Marnus Labuschagne expressed satisfaction with the pitch conditions and confirmed there were no changes to the playing XI.

Zalmi enter the final with strong form, led by Babar Azam, who has scored 588 runs in the tournament. He is closely supported by Kusal Mendis with 544 runs, while bowler Sufiyan Muqeem leads their attack with 21 wickets. Zalmi have defeated all teams in the tournament except Lahore Qalandars, making them strong contenders for the title.
