Weather Department Issues Forecast For Rain And Gusty Winds

ISLAMABAD: (WEb DThe Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast predominantly hot and dry weather across most parts of the country over the coming days.
However, isolated areas in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and northeastern Punjab are expected to experience strong winds and thundershowers.
Among major cities, morning temperatures were recorded at 21°C in Islamabad and Muzaffarabad. The temperature stood at 29°C in Lahore, 30°C in Karachi, 28°C in Peshawar, and 23°C in Quetta.
Partly Cloudy Weather Continues Across Karachi Today
Meanwhile, cooler temperatures were recorded in northern regions, with 17°C in Gilgit and 14°C in Murree.
In Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, weather conditions are expected to remain partly cloudy, with forecasts indicating strong winds and thundershowers in several areas, including Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla.
Morning temperatures in the region were recorded at 16°C in Srinagar, Pulwama and Anantnag, 27°C in Jammu, 7°C in Leh, and 15°C in Shopian and Baramulla.
