Peshawar Court Issues Double Death Sentence in Shooting Brothers Murder Case

Peshawar – (Web Desk) – A Peshawar court double death sentence shooting brothers case has shocked the region. Additional Sessions Judge Imtiaz Ali found the accused, Javed, guilty of murdering two brothers and handed down capital punishment on both counts.

The victims’ father told police he was standing outside his home with his sons, Tariq and Kamil, when Javed arrived with his wife and daughter. A heated argument broke out, and Javed opened fire on the family.

Both brothers were critically wounded in the attack. They were rushed to the hospital but sadly could not survive their injuries. Their father, who was also present during the shooting, managed to survive.

The court ordered Javed to pay Rs2 million to the families of the victims. He also received a three-year prison sentence along with a Rs100,000 fine for attempted murder. If he fails to pay the fines, he will serve an extra year behind bars.

The two female accused, Javed’s wife and daughter, were cleared of all charges. The court found no solid evidence connecting them to the crime and acquitted them accordingly.
