Peshawar: (Web Desk) The Board of Directors of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has approved an annual performance bonus for employees in recognition of their contributions during the 2025–26 fiscal year. Under the decision regular contract and deputation employees will receive a bonus equal to one month’s basic salary while lump sum and daily wage workers will be granted an amount equivalent to one month’s initial basic pay.
According to the notification only employees who have completed at least six months of service will qualify for the incentive. Staff members involved in corruption power theft misconduct or facing investigations by NAB FIA or any other inquiry authority will be excluded.

Employees who have received major disciplinary punishments or were responsible for delays in net metering approvals billing connections and complaint resolution through the 118 Complaint Portal will also be ineligible.
Separately Governor Faisal Karim Kundi directed PESCO to prevent unannounced load shedding across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa especially during Muharram and was informed about progress on the Band Korai Grid Station and the Dera Ismail Khan 220 KV Grid Station projects.

The incentive will be awarded to staff meeting service requirements while employees involved in corruption misconduct disciplinary cases or delays in consumer services will be excluded. Meanwhile Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has directed the utility to avoid unannounced load shedding during Muharram and reviewed progress on key grid station projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
