Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed optimism regarding ongoing diplomatic negotiations, stating that Pakistan is closer to reaching a peace agreement than at any previous stage of the talks.
According to the prime minister, the agreement could be finalized within the next 24 hours if discussions continue to progress positively. He added that the deal is expected to be signed electronically immediately after its completion.
Shehbaz Sharif said technical-level discussions are scheduled to take place next week to address implementation details and advance the negotiation process.
The prime minister also thanked the United States and Iran for their continued support and facilitation efforts, while acknowledging the role of regional partners in helping move the talks forward.
