LAHORE: (Web Desk) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to begin its National Under-17 Cup from April 16, featuring 18 regional teams from across the country. A total of 270 young cricketers will participate in the tournament, which will be played in multiple cities and run until May 13.
According to details, teams have been divided into three groups, with each side scheduled to play five group-stage matches. The top team from each group will qualify for the triangular stage, which will take place from May 2 to May 9, leading to a three-day final scheduled from May 11 to May 13.
PCB bans Muzarabani from PSL over contract breach
The tournament features a total prize pool of Rs1.775 million, with the winning team set to receive Rs1 million and the runner-up Rs500,000. Individual awards include Rs75,000 for the player of the tournament and Rs50,000 each for the best batsman, bowler, wicketkeeper, and final match player.
Matches from selected venues in Sialkot, Peshawar, and Faisalabad will be broadcast live, giving exposure to emerging talent across the country as part of PCB’s grassroots development structure.
