Ghulam Mustafa Bashir Wins Bronze for Pakistan at Asian Games

Bashir shot well in the eight-man final and finished third with 22 hits. The final was held at the Aichi Prefectural General Shooting Gallery.

South Korea’s Lee Gunhyeok won the gold medal. China’s Su Lianbofan took silver. Both shooters ended the final with 32 hits, but Lee came out on top.

Their score is listed as an Asian Games record and an Asian record. It was a very high level of shooting from the top two athletes.

Bashir started the second day of qualification in eighth place. He did not stay there for long.
