PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi Congratulates Pakistan on Over-40s World Cup Win

Pakistan – (Staff Reporter/Web Desk) – PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi on Wednesday congratulated the Pakistan Over-40 cricket team for winning the IMC Over-40s World Cup 2026. The tournament was played in Guyana.

Pakistan beat Australia in the final and lifted the trophy. The big win has made the whole country proud.

In his message, Naqvi said it is a great honour for Pakistan to win this event in Guyana. He said the players showed their skills in front of 15 teams, and that is a proud moment for the nation.

The PCB chief also praised the people working behind the scenes. He said Fawad Ijaz Khan and the Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association have done a great job. In his view, their hard work is helping veterans’ cricket grow in the country.

Veterans’ cricket gives older players a chance to stay close to the game they love. It also shows that passion and talent do not fade with age. This win proves that Pakistan’s senior players can still compete with the best teams in the world.

Fans across the country are happy with the news. Many people are sharing the good news on social media and wishing the players well.

Naqvi once again offered warm wishes to every member of the squad. He said he was congratulating them from the bottom of his heart.

The victory in Guyana adds another bright chapter to Pakistan’s cricket story. It will also give young players new hope and a reason to dream big. With good support and planning, Pakistan can keep winning on the world stage.
