Pakistan’s Sohail Adnan Wins British U-13 Squash Title After 18 Years

ISLAMABAD: Sohail Adnan, a rising squash star from Pakistan, made history by winning the British Junior Open Under-13 Squash Championship 2025, marking the country’s first victory in the competition in 18 years.

In a thrilling final held in Birmingham, Adnan triumphed over Egypt’s top seed, Moez Tamer Elmoghazy, securing a hard-fought 3-2 victory. The win is a significant milestone for Pakistan, as the British U-13 Squash title has eluded the nation since Nasir Iqbal’s win in 2007.

Adnan’s victory not only highlights his extraordinary skill but also brings a glimmer of hope for the revival of squash in Pakistan, a country once renowned for its dominance in the sport. He becomes the fifth Pakistani player to claim this prestigious junior title.
