In the second semi-final, Asif faced his compatriot Naseem Akhtar in a thrilling Best-of-Nine Frames match, where Asif emerged victorious, securing his spot in the final.
In the first semi-final, Sri Lanka’s Thaha Arshath had previously beaten Nepal’s Ankit Man by 5 frames to 3, advancing to the final to face Asif.
