Pakistan’s cement exports rise nearly 10 percent

Cement exports surge in January, up 62.75 percent year-on-year

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s cement exports rose by 9.91 percent during the first seven months of the fiscal year 2025-26 compared to the same period last year, according to data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).

Cement exports were valued at US$ 206.727 million from July to January 2025-26, up from US$ 188.091 million during July-January 2024-25. In terms of quantity, exports increased slightly by 0.33 percent, from 5,273,060 metric tons to 5,290,700 metric tons.

Pakistan’s IT exports climb to $2.61 billion first seven months

On a year-on-year basis, January 2026 saw a remarkable 62.75 percent growth in cement exports compared to January 2025. Exports during January 2026 reached US$ 33.558 million, up from US$ 20.619 million in the same month last year.

Month-on-month, cement exports surged 52.30 percent in January 2026 compared to December 2025, which had recorded US$ 22.035 million in exports. The data reflects steady growth in Pakistan’s cement sector and rising demand in international markets.
