Among the standout selections:

Shaheen Afridi has been picked by Brisbane Heat, bringing his pace and leadership qualities to the squad.
Haris Rauf returns to Melbourne Stars, continuing his impactful run in the BBL.
Mohammad Rizwan, known for his consistency and finishing ability, joins Melbourne Renegades.
Shadab Khan, a dynamic all-rounder, will feature for Sydney Thunder.
Hasan Ali has been signed by Adelaide Strikers, adding depth to their fast-bowling attack.

In a major headline, Babar Azam, Pakistan’s former captain and one of the world’s leading T20 batters, has reportedly secured a pre-signing deal with Sydney Sixers worth approximately PKR 100 million (10 crore rupees). This deal significantly exceeds the base price of the Platinum category, which stands at around PKR 7.75 crore, underlining Babar’s global appeal and elite status in the T20 format.

Sources indicate the Sixers made an aggressive push to sign Babar before the official draft, recognizing his match-winning prowess and commercial value.
