Pakistan & Turkey Strengthen Bilateral Relations: Minister for Defence Meets Turkish Ambassador

Islamabad: In a significant diplomatic move, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, Mehmet Pacaci, paid a visit to Minister for Defence, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, in Islamabad today, marking a reaffirmation of the strong ties between Pakistan and Turkey.

During the meeting, Minister Asif highlighted the exemplary bilateral relations shared by Pakistan and Turkey, underlining the foundation of common faith, culture, values, civilization, and historical linkages. He emphasized the depth of the relationship, stating that it is built on mutual respect and understanding.

The bilateral relations between Pakistan and Turkey have been further institutionalized through the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC), which operates under the umbrella of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defence relations, alongside High-Level Military Dialogue Meetings. This framework ensures continuous engagement and collaboration on various fronts, fostering closer ties between the two nations.
