Pakistan – India – (Special Correspondent/Web Desk) – Pakistan condemns Rajnath Singh remarks on Kashmir in strong words, calling them reckless and dangerous for regional peace. The Foreign Office issued a sharp statement on Monday, rejecting the Indian Defence Minister’s comments as misleading and unfair.
Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi said the remarks twist the truth about the Kashmir dispute. He noted that this issue is still officially listed on the United Nations Security Council’s agenda.
Andrabi also said India’s statement shows a clear pattern. He believes New Delhi is trying to stir up tension instead of working toward peace in the region.
The controversy began after Rajnath Singh spoke on Sunday. He said any future talks with Pakistan would only cover the region he called “Pakistan-administered Kashmir.”
Singh also claimed that India’s armed forces now have full freedom to act against threats. He added that no rival nation would dare challenge India’s strength.
These comments quickly drew backlash from Islamabad. Pakistani officials saw them as an attempt to shift focus away from real issues closer to home.
Pakistan Points to Indian “Occupation” and Instability
According to the Foreign Office, India is using tough talk to hide bigger problems. These include its continued hold over Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, known as IIOJK.
The statement also accused India of backing terrorism across the region. Officials said this is part of a longer pattern of blaming outsiders instead of fixing internal issues.
Pakistan’s government made it clear that such statements will not go unanswered. The Foreign Office said the country will not be pressured by aggressive language from its neighbour.
Reference to Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos
The statement also brought up last year’s Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos. Pakistan described it as proof of the nation’s unity and military strength.
Officials said the operation showed how Pakistan and its armed forces respond when faced with outside threats. They warned India not to underestimate that same resolve today.

The message was clear: Pakistan will defend its position firmly, just as it did during that operation.
Pakistan Calls on the United Nations to Act
The Foreign Office urged global powers, especially the United Nations, to pay closer attention to India’s actions. It called on the world body to hold India accountable for ignoring past resolutions.
These resolutions, Pakistan says, guarantee the people of Kashmir their right to choose their own future. Officials stressed that this right has been ignored for far too long.
Pakistan’s statement ended with a call for fairness. It asked the international community to stop staying silent while tensions in the region keep rising.
Tensions between Pakistan and India over Kashmir are not new. But statements like these can quickly raise the temperature between two nuclear-armed neighbours.
As both sides continue trading strong words, the world will be watching closely. Many hope diplomacy, not rhetoric, will guide what happens next.
