Pakistan Finalizes 12-Man Squad for Decisive England Test

Islamabad: (Sports Desk) – Pakistan has reportedly shortlisted 12 players for the third and final Test against England, with several uncapped players in contention for their Test debuts.

The match is scheduled to begin today at Edgbaston in Birmingham, with Pakistan looking to avoid a series whitewash after England secured a 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

According to reports, wicketkeeper Ghazi Ghauri, a 23-year-old from Karachi, is likely to make his Test debut for Pakistan.

All-rounder Mohammad Imran Randhawa, 29, is also among the leading candidates. The Khanewal-born right-handed batter has played 58 first-class matches, scoring 2,255 runs, including two centuries, while also claiming 110 wickets with his medium-fast bowling.

If Pakistan opts for an attack featuring four fast bowlers, 21-year-old Razaullah from Mardan could also earn his maiden Test cap. The right-arm pacer made his first-class debut for Peshawar in 2025 and has taken 30 wickets in eight matches.

Meanwhile, if the team decides to include a specialist spinner, 21-year-old left-arm spinner Arafat Minhas of Multan is considered a strong option. Minhas has already represented Pakistan in three ODIs and four T20Is.

With England already holding an unassailable 2-0 advantage, Pakistan face a crucial final Test as they seek to end the series on a positive note.
