Pakistan Envoy to USA Presents FIFA 2026 Ball to Banga

ISLAMABAD: (News Desk) – Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, held a meeting with World Bank President Ajay Banga and presented him with the Pakistan-manufactured official FIFA World Cup 2026 football, “Trionda,” as a gesture of goodwill.

During the interaction, Ajay Banga praised Pakistan’s thriving sports manufacturing industry, particularly recognizing the exceptional quality, innovation, and craftsmanship reflected in the locally produced Trionda football.

Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh highlighted Pakistan’s contribution to connecting nations through the universal language of sports, stating that the selection of a football manufactured in Pakistan for the FIFA World Cup 2026 represents a significant national achievement and a source of pride.

The ambassador emphasized that Sialkot has earned worldwide recognition as a center of excellence for sports goods manufacturing, with its products reaching international markets and earning global confidence.

He further noted that growing international appreciation and partnerships provide valuable encouragement for Pakistan’s sports industry. Sheikh also stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with the World Bank, ensuring that current and future development initiatives achieve greater impact through collaborative efforts.
