Pakistan Dominates India in Cricket Showdown”
DUBAI: The stalemate surrounding the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 finally ends as the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the hybrid model for the upcoming event, set to be hosted by Pakistan.
The ICC Board on Thursday confirmed that the tournament will be played across Pakistan in February and March 2025 with India’s matches being played at a neutral venue — which will be announced soon.
Apart from the hybrid model, the cricket council also awarded the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) with “hosting rights of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2028”, where neutral venue arrangements like CT 2025 will also apply.
According to the ICC statement, “India and Pakistan matches hosted by either country at ICC Events during the 2024-2027 rights cycle will be played at a neutral venue.
