Pakistan and Saudi Arabia jointly call for restraint amid deepening crisis
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Renew Commitment to Stronger Economic and Strategic Partnership
Pakistan & KSA – (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Saudi Arabia’s Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan at the Prime Minister’s House on Thursday. The meeting was seen as a fresh push to strengthen ties between the two countries.
The premier sent his warm regards to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He also spoke fondly of his recent conversation with the Crown Prince, calling it warm and friendly.
Shehbaz Sharif thanked Saudi Arabia for its continued support. He said the Kingdom’s financial help had played a key role in keeping Pakistan’s economy on track. He added that Pakistan has always stood by its Saudi brothers and sisters and will continue to do so.
PM Shehbaz stressed Islamabad’s “strong commitment” to expanding cooperation across key sectors, particularly trade, investment and broader economic development.

Al-Jadaan, in response, thanked the prime minister and reiterated the Kingdom’s resolve to further strengthen the “longstanding deep-rooted fraternal bonds” between the two countries, in line with the vision of the Crown Prince.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir were also present at the meeting.
