Pakistan Accuses India of Fueling Regional Instability Amid Rising Hindutva Influence
Senior security official tells media influencers that rising polarization, minority concerns and regional tensions pose challenges to South Asian stability.
Isllamabad – (Muddaser Iqbal / News Desk) – A recent Pakistan security official Hindutva statement has sparked fresh talk about ties between Islamabad and New Delhi. The remarks came during a briefing with media influencers on Thursday.
The official, speaking through security sources, said India often points fingers at Pakistan to avoid facing its own problems at home. He pointed to rising social divides and political tension inside India.
According to the briefing, Hindutva ideology has changed India’s political mood over time. The official said this shift has weakened India’s secular image and increased pressure on minority groups.
The term “Akhand Bharat” also came up during the talk. The official called it a risky idea that spreads mistrust among South Asian neighbors instead of building peace.
He further claimed that India’s state institutions now lean heavily toward the ruling party’s views. India has denied similar claims in the past.
The briefing also touched on free speech in India. Security sources said journalists, activists, and government critics face growing pressure to stay quiet.
Muslims in India were a major point of concern. The official said many feel forced to prove their loyalty again and again, which he called a sign of deeper social strain.
Talking about Jammu and Kashmir, the official described the region as tightly controlled, with locals facing daily restrictions. He said a peaceful, political solution is needed for lasting calm.
Security sources also claimed that India links local unrest to Pakistan to shift global attention away from its own issues. No solid proof was shared during the briefing.
The official ended by saying Pakistan wants peace and steady growth in the region. He added that Pakistan will stay alert to any move that threatens its safety or independence.
India has not yet replied to these claims. In the past, Indian officials have rejected similar accusations, saying their policies focus on national security and growth.
