Rahim Yar Khan: An OGDCL spokesperson announced that significant gas reserves have been discovered in the Mari East Block, specifically at Chak 1-202 in the Rahim Yar Khan district.
The newly uncovered reserves are projected to produce 6.15 million cubic feet of gas per day. This discovery represents OGDCL’s second successful identification of gas reserves this month, bolstering the nation’s energy resources.
The spokesperson highlighted that this find will contribute to narrowing the gap between domestic gas supply and demand, reinforcing OGDCL’s dedication to advancing Pakistan’s energy sector.
